This case study is about a South Africa-headquartered pan-Africa bank that engaged Icon to determine the bank’s overall capability to deliver their target architecture and make prioritised recommendations for transforming the bank’s Payments Services and Corporate Channels for long-term sustainability. To achieve this, Icon adopted a three-part approach that involved leveraging the expertise of Icon’s Payments Centre of Excellence, reference architectures and global payments industry insight to conduct a business and architecture review and develop an architecture roadmap.
