Icon’s Director of Services, Darren Capehorn to speak at Payments International 2017

Icon’s Director of Services, Darren Capehorn is scheduled to speak at Payments International on Thursday 14th September 2017.

Darren will be presenting ‘Instant Payments – it’s not all about speed…or consumers’ and will focus on the features of instant payments that drive strong use cases for businesses.

Specifically, Darren will share his views on why Europe should take the US’s lead and leverage B2B use cases for instant payments. He will also discuss the value of features like the ability to carry rich data; and the availability of non-payments messages. And, importantly, the savings that can be made by replacing cards with instant payments.

He will be joining over 150 expert speakers in the payments industry from banks, FinTechs and governing bodies. The focus this year will be on regulation, FinTech, Open API’s, digital journeys, blockchain, data, instant payments and the future.
