Icon Solutions appoints real-time payments expert Gene Neyer to drive global expansion
London, 10th January 2018 – Icon Solutions, the leading provider of technology solutions and real-time payments expertise, today announced the appointment of industry luminary Gene Neyer as Executive Advisor to the board. With over 30 years’ experience at leading technology firms and industry bodies, Gene will provide strategic guidance on Icon’s real-time payments (RTP) strategy across the globe. His focus will be on North America product evolution for IPF and its go-to-market strategy.
Gene brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Icon Solutions, with previous roles including Head of Industry and Regulation for Finastra and the global payments lead at both D+H and Fundtech. Gene is involved in a number of prominent industry groups including the Governance Framework Formation Taskforce (successor to the Fed Faster Payments Taskforce) and is the Chair of the Supplier Committee at the Bankers Association for Finance and Trade. He is also a past representative to the European Banking Authority, Fed, International Payments Framework Association and The Clearing House.
