Icon’s Christmas Campaign: December is for giving
Icon Solutions announce their Christmas campaign ‘December is for giving‘ as employees participate in different activities to raise money for charities close to their heart, because let’s face it – that’s what Christmas is all about, right? Over the next few weeks we will be taking part in:
1. The North Pole Challenge
Starting December 1st employees began the race to the North pole aiming to collectively reach 6823kms before Christmas Eve. As well as our employees donating money, Icon will also donate:
- 15p per km Cycled
- 30p per km Walked, Hiked or Ran
- 60p per km Swum
2. Gift Donations
This year, instead of Secret Santa, employees will be taking part in the Met Police Christmas Tree appeal in partnership with The Childhood Trust as they donate gifts to children in need between the ages of 0-17. Gifts range from sensory playsets, solar systems to gift vouchers.
3. Christmas Jumper Day
On December 11th employees will be participating in Christmas jumper day – Icon will match all donations made by employees to Save the Children. In addition our employees will be encouraged to send in photographs of themselves/family/pets in their Christmas jumpers – for every Christmas jumper Icon will also donate a Christmas Gift to Crisis at Christmas (food, shelter and support).
