Our client was undertaking a major rewrite of its IT strategy to improve innovation, adaptability and scale, and needed a partner to bring structure and momentum to a complex, bank-wide transformation. A core focus was modernising and simplifying the architecture function.

Icon established a single Reference Architecture Framework and unified Group Architecture Principles, replacing duplicated and fragmented approaches. We provided guidance, templates and governance to make these standards practical, while laying foundations for future automation.
