Why did you choose to join Icon?
Icon's IPF is unique and it's transforming the way banks handle payments. I joined because I was impressed by the calibre of the clients already using IPF and was keen to work with the team behind it.
Tell us about your career in Banking and Finance
I've been fortunate to work for some great companies of varying sizes and scales. I started at JPMorgan as a graduate and spent 14 years there, progressing to Global Technology roles. After that, I was CTO and Partner at a large global hedge fund, which we grew to 650 people in 14 offices worldwide. More recently, I've had two CTO roles at FinTechs in London, the second of which was also focused on payments.
What drives you in your work?
I love working for smaller companies where I feel I can have more of an impact. I particularly enjoy working at Icon because the team is a great combination of high-calibre people who are very motivated, yet at the same time, relaxed and fun to be around!
