Why did you choose to join Icon?

Put simply, the people. I immediately felt like I would be working with like-minded people who wanted to get the job done and have fun while they were doing it.

What are the key achievements in your professional career?

I had a key role in delivering a global brand repositioning campaign for a large money transfer company which involved creating TV and radio ads and even sponsorship of a major cricket tournament (which was interesting considering how little I know about the sport). At Icon I'm incredibly proud of how far Icon has come as a brand - we have grown from a small, niche consultancy to an organisation who regularly speak at key industry events and feature in the industry press.

What drives you in your work?

I want to feel like I have made a difference. And I'm always trying to think of how we can do things better or differently and reinforce that marketing isn't just about making things look pretty!

What are the key achievements in your professional career?

I helped define standards as an original Board member of The Payments Council and APACS Design Board for Faster Payments.

What is your favourite part about working at Icon?

Being able to identify, attract and reward the best talent in the industry.

What’s next for Icon?

Icon has a team of experts who have the knowledge and drive to change the way in which payments solutions are built – and to specifically challenge the huge solution providers. We are working to see that come to fruition.

What are your interests outside the office?

Amateur dramatics. Also I do have a little thing for classic cars.
